Hardware wallet

Your crypto. Your keys. Offline by design.

Trezor keeps your private keys on a dedicated device and asks you to confirm every transaction on its own screen, so your funds stay under your control even when your computer does not.

Built to keep your keys out of reach

Every part of the device is designed around one idea: the software on your computer should never be able to move your funds without your say-so.

Keys stay on the device

Private keys are generated and stored inside the hardware wallet. They never touch your computer or phone, so malware on your browser cannot copy them.

Confirm on the screen

Every transaction is shown on the device display. You approve the amount and recipient with a physical button press, not by trusting the app in front of you.

Open and auditable

Firmware and companion software are open source, so security researchers and the community can inspect exactly what runs on the device.

Recovery you control

Your wallet is restored from a recovery seed you write down offline. Lose the device, restore on a new one, and keep your funds.

Many assets, one device

Store bitcoin, ether, and a wide range of other tokens on a single wallet, managed through a companion app you can use on desktop or mobile.

Passphrase protection

Add an optional passphrase as an extra layer on top of your recovery seed to create hidden wallets that only you know about.

Up and running in three steps

01

Set up your device

Connect your wallet, choose a PIN, and write down the recovery seed on paper. Store it somewhere safe and offline.

02

Install the companion app

Use the companion app to manage accounts, view balances, and prepare transactions. The app never sees your private keys.

03

Approve on the device

Check the recipient and amount on the wallet screen, then confirm with the button. Nothing is signed without your approval.

Security you can verify

A hardware wallet is only as trustworthy as its design and its transparency. Trezor publishes its firmware source code so anyone can check how keys are generated, stored, and used.

Never share your recovery seed or PIN with anyone, including support staff. Anyone who asks for them is trying to take your funds.

  • Recovery seed written down offline, never stored digitally
  • PIN protection against unauthorized access to the device
  • Transactions confirmed with a physical button on the device
  • Firmware updates checked against cryptographic signatures

Take custody of your crypto
